Meet Magda Henning

Magda brings a remarkable depth of experience, compassion and dedication to Cheltenham Dental. Originally from Venezuela, a beautiful country she speaks of with great love and pride, Magda’s journey to Australia has been one of courage and resilience. Amidst challenging circumstances in her homeland, she made the life-changing decision to relocate, seeking safety and new opportunities for herself and her family. Today, she feels deeply grateful to call Australia home, where she lives surrounded by two of her children and four grandchildren.

Before joining our team, Magda was a practising dentist and a university professor of Oral Medicine at the prestigious Central University of Venezuela. She was instrumental in founding the Master’s programme in Oral Medicine at her university, a testament to her commitment to advancing dental education and supporting future generations of dental professionals. She still cherishes strong ties with her “academic children” back in Venezuela, maintaining contact and offering guidance from afar.

Since arriving in Australia, Magda has worked alongside Dr Tony Heilberg for seven years, and now continues to support Dr Sangeeta and Dr Heena Patel at Cheltenham Dental. She speaks warmly of her colleagues, describing the team as kind, talented and deeply committed to patient care, a spirit she wholeheartedly shares.

Magda loves connecting with patients and making their visits comfortable and pleasant. Her extensive dental knowledge, gentle approach and genuine warmth shine through in every interaction, helping to create the caring and supportive atmosphere our practice is known for.
