Dr Kedar Samant brings over 30 years of clinical expertise and heartfelt care to every patient he sees. A highly experienced dentist with a Master's in Endodontics (1999, India), Kedar has devoted his career to helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles, and he does so with empathy, precision, and a warm, reassuring approach.
Kedar’s journey in dentistry has taken him from leading hospitals and private practice in vibrant Bombay, to regional Victoria where he ran a successful clinic in Shepparton, taught at Melbourne University, and gave back to the local community through sports sponsorships and fundraising initiatives. His experience spans complex root canal treatment, surgical extractions, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry, all delivered with a deep commitment to patient comfort and long-term oral health.
In 2024, Kedar returned to Melbourne and is now proud to be part of the team at Dr Tony Heilberg Dentistry. He’s passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with his patients and believes that great dental care starts with truly listening.
Outside of dentistry, Kedar’s adventurous spirit shines. Whether hiking mountains, exploring underwater worlds, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen (with mixed results, he admits), he brings curiosity and energy to everything he does.
